Is there a way to make independently tutoring low income students count as NC volunteer hours?

I’ve been feeling super guilty about the fact that the only people who can afford SHSAT tutoring are bon chic bourgeois rich kids and that in many ways I’m sort of actively reinforcing this system of oppression unless I start volunteer tutoring. However, because of my intense work, patient contact volunteering and class schedule it is hard for me to join formal volunteer tutoring programs that demand rigid availability.

If I volunteer tutor on an independent basis is there a way for me to formally document those hours? Also do admissions committees frown on those who tutor MCAT material? (However my major focus would be the SHSAT / SAT / Regents)

I listed myself as the contact for both my paid and volunteer tutoring. If you formally do it it might be better to find someone/an organization to do it under.
