is there anyway i can see my LOR?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Unless you didn't waive your right to see them, no.

Why not just ask the dentist if he/she geared it towards one particular school?

i agree. i don't think there is much more that you can do.

it depends, if its stored in interfolio (even if you've signed the waiver), you can have interfolio send it to your address or friends address... Its unethical, but since your reasons are (in my opinion) justified, I say go for it

Can a single mis-targeted LOR really singlehandedly sink your chances at all the schools? I have a hard time wrapping my head around the idea...

Same here, i believe i am in a state that most people would call DENIAL. :luck:

A misguided LOR can't completely sink an app because one of mine was dated July 2009 from last cycle and I have an interview at Case Western so far this cycle. What happened was I contacted the dentist to resubmit the letter she had written for me last year (she let me read it last time and it was REALLY good) and the dentist must have told her secretary to do it. To make a long story short, the secretary didn't edit anything and submitted it as it was old date and all. To make matters worse, I only applied to one school so the letter was customized! I bust my ass for four years to get to dental school and this little disaster happens. I sincerely hope the admissions crews can see beyond tiny snafus like this.
