Is this allowed for Step 2 CS?

Hi,

I'm scheduled to take Step 2 CS in a few days. I understand that I must bring "unenhanced, standard stethoscope." The only stethoscope I have is the Littmann Master Cardiologist Stethoscope, which does not have a traditional diaphragm/bell set up. The diaphragm and bell are on one side and switching between the two is done by applying different amounts of pressure. Is this allowed for CS?

By unenhanced they usually mean that no electronic amplification is allowed. If they have a problem with your stethoscope they will likely provide you with one of their own. I don't foresee there should be a problem but only the testing center/proctors can decide that.
