Is this considered a retake?

I took one class at my university (Sociology 101) and got a C+ for 4.0 credits.
I later took a Sociology 100 (also intro) at a community college for 3.0 credits and got an A-.
Is this considered a "Retake" even though they were at different colleges for different credit amounts?

They are two different courses, with different credits and different course descriptions. So it's not a retake as far as MD schools are concerned (not that it matters, since both are counted anyways in AMCAS)

I figure DO schools probably follow the same but i'll let @Goro chime in

No DO schools will go off course description. If they're virtually the same course (sounds like it) it's a retake.
