Hey y'all,

just a quick question. Wondering if this is clinical volunteering or not. Just got a volunteer role working in the outpatient cancer center at my local hospital, bringing refreshments and conversation to patients waiting for treatment. It's nothing hardcore, like helping doctors or even shelving stuff at the ER - is this considered clinical volunteering because it's in a clinical setting and dealing with patients, or is it too non-medical?

Probably a stupid question I won't be asking after freshman year but wanted to ask anyway.

Thanks! 😀

Yes, it's a clinical volunteer experience.

Absolutely! This qualifies as Volunteering! Please do make a mention of it and hours...

It's actually an outpatient clinic attached to the hospital (but it's still patient interaction!) Thanks for all the input folks! I am super excited!
