First off, I'm a Texas resident and I would love to attend one of the UT schools, but I would also like to increase my odds of getting into medical school by applying broadly.
I think my MCAT is competitive enough for my state schools but not competitive enough for OOS schools. (28P 10PS,8VR,10BS
and 3.67cgpa/3.71spga)
Is it lying/cheating if I apply to Texas schools using TMDSAS checking the box that I am NOT taking another MCAT even though I'm rescheduled for June 18th? I want to submit as soon as I can to Texas schools with my current MCAT but also retake another MCAT and submit those scores ONLY to AMCAS...
Would this be wise? Or should I just do the whole apply-to-one-school-and-update-later thing for both applications?
