I may have an opportunity to work at a nueroimaging facility at my university. Research teams studying different neurological and psychological processes use the facility to gather human data using an MRI machine. I would be working in the facility learning about the science behind the studies, operating equipment, and overall helping the individual research teams gather the data. To be clear, the facility does not produce any research itself, but a number of research teams from the university use the facility to gather data. Does this count as research experience? I may be able to pair up with one of the research teams so I can do analysis and things of that sort, but if that doesn't happen can it still be counted as research? Thanks SDN.
