So I'm probably not going to my first choice school, but my second... I was really really hoping... Is it justified to feel a little disappointed? Has anyone else been in a similar situation? Am I just being a brat?

There's almost nothing you can do about getting rejected by your first choice school. For a lot people, first choice=shot in the dark. I guess it's justified to feel a little disappointed but it's probably best not to dwell on it. At least you gave it a shot. What would be worse is to underestimate yourself and not have applied to your first choice, apply and get accepted to your second choice and then spend your life wondering if you might have been able to pull off your first choice.

You didn't get what you wanted. It's okay to feel a bit dissapointed, but you have to be happy that at least you got something...you have to be content with what've got cause there are those who have nothing at all.

I got my 2nd choice and I was happy but a part of me felt "blah"...but I didn't want to complain because beggars can't be choosers.
