So I am working full time at a research lab and I have a bad relationship with one of the post-doc here that is supposed to manage me. In fact, no one likes him that much anyone in the first place and he is often condescending to others here.

I changed my mentor to someone else and to be honest, I wasn't being that productive either. I was going along pretty well with him in the beginning and told him about schools I interviewed at. Is it ever possible that he can report bad things about me to med schools I interviewed at?

The thing is.. knowing him and his personality, he is totally capable of doing it..

what do you guys think?

He could do it. And they may listen. Better not to piss off people with influence.

Admissions are a bit too busy right now to listen to defamatory anonymous phone calls about applicants.
