I remember scoring 110-115 on this years ago. Then at one point I did it again and received 106, then I did it twice today, 108 and 105.

This iq test is the 'raven's progressive matrices': http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raven's_Progressive_Matrices

However, when I did this one: http://www.free-iqtest.net/

I scored 140 months ago. I did it again today, 141.

I googled a lot and many people say the test at iqtest.dk is very reliable, but because of that I am doubting my abilities.

What I'm hoping to hear is that raven's test is not in fact accurate. I wish to take an official one. But I'm wondering, someone said people with high iq's are generally good at everything they do (be that puzzles, word riddles, math, physics, etc). I'm skeptical about that. But if I'm not insanely good at the raven's iq test, how will that factor into my real iq test done by a psychologist? I think that a real iq test will have more than just visual puzzles.

Also, how does this raven's iq test factor in to abilities that a physician performs?

IQ tests are not indicative of your ability to be a good physician, so long as you are of relatively normal intelligence or higher. How hard you work, how good your memory is, and how well you integrate and use data are far more important than your general intelligence, as are your leadership abilities and social skills.

I am far from being a physician but I am pretty sure that an IQ test is not indicative of the abilities of a physician, as the above poster stated. The most important reason for this is that IQ tests do not take into account the social elements of being a physician, which I would argue (probably ~9/10 times) to be the factor that separates 'good' doctors from 'bad' ones.

Side note: I really hope this 'real' IQ test is free and are done for reasons other than guaging intelligence. This is because paying for an IQ test for the reason of guaging intelligence is not very intelligent.

Read a bit about the Terman genius study: http://alumni.stanford.edu/get/page/magazine/article/?article_id=40678

Long story short, you only need to be "smart enough". Above a certain point, factors other than raw intelligence are bigger determining factors of success.

Though the Terman kids were handpicked for high IQ, the longitudinal results tell us little about the meaning of IQ, except for one study conducted by Terman's associate, Melita Oden. In 1968, she compared the 100 most successful and 100 least successful men in the group, defining success as holding jobs that required their intellectual gifts. The successes, predictably, included professors, scientists, doctors and lawyers. The non-successes included electronics technicians, police, carpenters and pool cleaners, plus a smattering of failed lawyers, doctors and academics. But here's the catch: the successes and non-successes barely differed in average IQ. The big differences turned out to be in confidence, persistence and early parental encouragement.

Most tests that aren't professionally done by a psychologist are going to be way off. I've been professionally tested twice. Then took a few of the online ones and my score varied by as much as 70 points. In one case putting me below 70 (I later realized time to answer questions was part of the score and my grandmas dial up Internet speeds sucked.

As others have noted, as long as you're reasonably intelligent and willing to work your tail off, you should be fine. There are many other factors that are important, maturity, good listening skills, common sense, emotional maturity, attention to detail, so on and so forth.

I really won't trust free iq tests; there is only 1 reasonable and trust worthy IQ test and that requires a 100 dollar fee; if i find the website i'll let you know.

I got a 97! Only four points from a perfect score!

Edit: SDN's little April_Fool's_joke made this even better. I_hadn't meant to mess up the grammar, but that did improve it.
