Hey guys,

I've taken the MCATs once my jr year and now again my sr year.

I have not gotten my April 2011 scores year, but my first score was bad. Upper teens / Q writing sample .

My GPA is 3.7 non science, 3.5 cGPA/BCPM.
I believe I did much better this time around but I do plan on submitting my AACOMAS application this June 1st. If I did not do as well as I thought on my second MCAT, Can I still submit and retake the MCAT in July and send med schools my third score? (Rhetorically, if my third score is the best and I plan on it being , a lot of studying going on now)

What would you do in my case?


Ps. I am confident I scored well my second time around . My EC's are high end, take into full account that my applciation is stellar, and I had a huge upward trend in my undergraduate grades from my JR to SR year. (Organic Chem. I/II aced, biochem aced, Genetics aced, physics I/II aced, Analytical chem aced, Calc aced) Straight A's my last 2 years of college .

<28 would be wise to apply osteopathic.

Can I still submit AACOMAS but make it clear that I want to count my third MCAT which I will be taking in July? Or do I need to wait until August for my third MCAT results to submit AACOMAS?

Check off that you will be taking a future test date and submit AACOMAS. That way you can get your transcripts verified and all, so by the time you get your MCAT score, you should be verified and receiving secondaries from schools.

I have almost the exact same stats and retook my MCAT in September, applied to most schools end of October and early November. I still got in if that reassures you a little.
