Addition of X2 to alkene = anti

Hydroboration= syn with anti mark

Oxymercuration= anti with mark

Anything with ROOR = anti mark

Only HBr with peroxides gives antimarkovnikov. Everything else is markovnikov.

thanks klutzy ur the f***in man I have my DAT tomorrow at 930am and im trying to get everything straight and not freak out. This is a retake, I got a measly 17AA the first time but i didnt study much because of hard classes. I feel a lot ore confident this time around so lets see what I can do.

Not disagreeing, but just saying that doesn't much sense to me.
I understand it, but barely.
