Right now I'm a second sem frosh. Here's my plan:

Summer Session1:
Ochem 1 w/ lab

Fall 010:
Ochem 2 (w/o lab)-3cr.
Gen Bio 1-5cr.
Calc 1-4cr
Spanish 200-3cr.
(possible phys ed course ie fitness or basketball- 2 credits)
Total: 15-17cr.

Does this seem like a bit overloaded?
Also would taking Ochem 1 in the 1st summer session then taking the rest of summer off then go into Ochem2 like that result in a struggle?

Thanks

taking orgo before bio? that may not end well.

doesn't look too bad, though. can't be any worse than physics and orgo together.

i dont think thats bad...im taking zoology, botany, and orgo 2, along with all the labs...it sucks but we all have semesters like that...also i think its a good idea to have orgo 1 and orgo 2 back to back...orgo 2 will go alot better with orgo 1 still fresh in your head.

I would kill for a semester like that. My semesters usually involve 3 engineering classes and 1 to 2 lab sciences. If I'm lucky, I might have a humanity in there but considering I only need 9 hours for my major, that doesn't happen much.

So yes, that schedule looks very manageable.

It is similar to my old schedule in Fall of sophmore year (I had physics, chem 2, calculus, and a random class)

It's doable
