Is two months enough to prepare?

I recently graduated from college with a degree in chemistry and I'm planning on taking the MCAT on September 9th, which gives me two months to prepare. I've taken the prerequisite premed courses except sociology (I took a social psych course, not sure if that counts) either in college or AP. I know three months is usually recommended to prepare, but can I do it in two months if I have no other obligations? Is this advisable? If so, what things should I keep in mind, and what's a good way to budget my time? I did some searching on this forum, but couldn't find a post with my same situation. Thanks in advance.

Edit: I should add that I have the Kaplan and Examkrackers 2015 books and have the latest Berkeley Review set on the way.

2-3 months is usually the average amount of time people take to prepare for the MCAT.

It really depends on a lot of factors. It depends on the amount of review you require, how close your practice scores are compared to your desired score, and the amount of time you plan on spending each day prepping. You are pretty much reviewing everything you've learned in all of your science courses.. plus additional material. You really won't know if 2 months is enough time for you until you start getting into it and see how much you get out of it. If you feel like you've reached your goals and you can comfortably take off the day before the exam to just relax then you are probably ok. If you are cramming the day before and looking at notecards before you walk into the testing center, then reschedule. I can't stress it enough that if you should never take the exam just to take it and hope for the best. The score doesn't leave your record and there's no reason to rush it.

Two months is definitely enough time if you have a good schedule and put in 6 or so hours a day at least. The sociology stuff is pretty easy to learn. You've got time.
