I read a thread about the OP stating how much of a mess USC is and many other fellow USC students had a lot of negative feedback as well...I believe it was from a few years ago...so basically I was just wondering if it has got any better over the years? I'm considering applying but the comments I read in that thread really turned me away...

USC is much better than it was a few years ago. Four year graduation rates in like 2008 were in the 20-30% range, now it's in the 90+% range. The first time part I passing rate was 90 or 91% for last years class. The class of 2014 will be the first class at USC that gets to do the surgical placement of implants instead of just assisting the surgery and placing the restoration. The clinical model is switching to a comprehensive care system instead of an educational unit system where we will be in charge of a certain number of patients' care through out our time in clinic instead of a set number of requirements. In my experience it's been a pretty nice place to go to school so far. If you have any more specific questions feel free to ask.
