If you get into one of the legitimate caribbean schools, you're already taking a risk of not matching. Don't do it.

Agree with the above.
It would be better to stay in the US, and get some other medical job, such as EMT, paramedic, etc. and try to get your feet wet first, or stay here and raise your GPA, etc. so that you can get into a better school. Trust your gut. Anyone can take your money, but only a few places can prepare you to be a physician. If you go somewhere like Ross or St. George, or get yourself into a US school, then you'll have a good shot.

Do not go there, period.

Just out of interest, what kind of red flags?

Bottom line fact- people from Windsor get residencies. Of course, you should go to the best school you can qualify for. The reason fewer Windsor grad get residencies is because they accept a lot of people who don't have the ability to pass the USMLE's. But that's on the student's shoulders. There are students from Carib schools that are not the big 4, in residency regularly. Medical University of America's, St. Mathew's, St. Eustatius (to a lesser degree), and Windsor (to an even lesser degree) are some of these schools, among others. I just assume that any thinking person would apply to the best school they can, or the school of their choice, not the least competitive or advantageous school that you can. But some people do apply to MUA, who are extremely high scorer's (several 245's last year), because they are actually paying cash, and the tuition is 1/3 or less of SGU or Ross. Yes, not as many open doors in residency interviews, but that can be overcome.
