ISO: Level 1 Locums

Happy New Year fellow Emergentricians:

I'm an attending 5 years out with previous Level 1 experience and am in search of a locums arrangement at a Level 1 shop with a high trauma acuity. D'town, Baltimore, Chicago or anywhere else unfortunately violent. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Se habla espanol.

Most urban level 1 trauma centers are also teaching hospitals with university affiliation. They are unlikely to contract with locums companies. You may be eligible for part time or per diem work, but your best bet would be to contact individual departments directly. These also tend to not pay very much for per diem employment.
