The ISRS Society (www.isrsy.org) is proud to announce the creation of the ISRS Fellowship. This will be an educational grant paid by the ISRS Society (in the amount of 20 - 25 k US dollars) given to a young professional during every bi-annual ISRS Congress.

In this respect we are looking for potential sponsoring institutions that would be interested in participating in this program. Corporate companies in the industry will be cordially invited as well to become a co-sponsors of this grant.
The name of the grant shall remain “The ISRS Fellowship” however if a substantial contribution to this grant is made, the ISRS Society will publicly acknowledge the support of the company.

Project: ISRS Fellowship

Denomination: The ISRS Fellowship

Purpose: To provide financial support (partial), and a Sponsoring Institution to an awardee selected as described below, to fulfil a fellowship of 6 months to 1 year, doing clinical or/and research work in the field of radiosurgery.

Funds: 20-25 k US dollars every two years - from the ISRS Society (and/or other sponsors)

Candidates:
- Young (up to 36 y-o) professionals in the field of neurosurgery/radiation oncology/ radiation physics
- The candidate will be selected by a committee (ISRS fellowship committee) based on the quality of a clinical/research original study in the field of radiosurgery, presented at the ISRS meeting by an active participant (no absentee awards). The award will be bestowed during the meeting.
- The candidates will stipulate that their work is to be considered for the ISRS fellowship upon submission of abstract to the ISRS meeting.
- The candidate should be the senior author [first/last]/ and presenter
- The candidate should be eligible for admission and work in the country and Institution to which the selected Sponsoring Institution belongs.
- The awardee will select his/her sponsoring institution from the list of Sponsoring Institutions (the selected Sponsoring Institution may not be in the Awardee's native country).

Sponsoring Institutions:
- Institutions with recognized record in the field of Radiosurgery
- Willing and capable to accept clinical and or research fellows providing them adequate guidance to enable a fruitful academic experience.
- The Institution will match the ISRS grant (20-25 k US Dollars)

Companies interested in providing financial support for the ISRS Fellowship:
- All companies that provide products or services in the fields relating to radiosurgery may become corporate sponsors of this grant
- This is not an exclusive sponsorship opportunity - several companies may contribute to the ISRS Fellowship
- Companies that make substantial financial contributions to this fellowship will be recognized for their support
