Hi,
Thank G-d I have been interviewed at a few schools.
I am having a problem remembering all the facts about the school. I remember asking lots of questions to the dental students and all my questions were answered. Overall, i've had a pleasant experience at each school. My problem is that I lost that good feeling I had each time I left the school and now I have to make a decision.
Anyone in the same boat? I know I can easily browse SDN and read about other people's experiences but they won't be mine. Now that I think about it maybe your experiences will trigger any memories I had.
Thanks ,
dan

which schools have u been accepted? im guessing you been accepted because you need to make a "decision?"

i thought all the schools i interviewed at were all good schools. my family had an important part in my decision making process.

I know what you are talking about. Everytime I went to a new interview/tour it blocked out what I remembered about the other schools I'd been to. Lukily, I took notes at most my interviews and after each interview I made a list of pros/cons/feelings regarding each school. Now I can look over it and it brings back the memories.

Even if I didn't have my personal notes, the handouts from the schools trigger my memory - maybe you could try that. Grap the handouts from the schools you went to and look them over.

NYU and Pitt

sorry i dont know about those 2 schools. what state are u a resident of? maybe that can help you decide? i know NYU is pretty expensive.....

edit: but i heard NYU has all the lastest techinologies and all new stuff

i'm from NY.
I weighed the pros and cons already and pittsburgh wins.
I look for clinical exposure, class size, supportive environment and price (not in any particular order)
do i need to take the NERB's if i return to NY, or just do a year residency?

^ yeah, just go where you want and where you will be happy.

i'll definately try this, thanks

I am completely in the same boat as you with the decision making. I had a positive experience everywhere I interviewed and now have to decide between NYU and Boston University. My NYU interview was almost 2 months earlier than the BU one so im having difficulty comparing the two experiences. Its so hard to go based on what you read on this site and no matter what information about the two schools I read nothing is pushing me one way or the other. I loved New York when I was there for the interview, and like Boston but wasn't as blown away... Is this enough of a reason to choose NYU over BU???? PLEASE HELP!!! Any advice would be so appreciated!!!
