hey guys;

I just bought a subscription to Step 1. However, I am having a lot of trouble with the software. Every single time I try to load explanation to a question, it stops with three bars on the "loading test" window. I have yet to get past this window and it has been almost a week! Can you please help me.

I am running the current Java and WinXP version.

I had problem with program not loading in the past with usmle world, and it was when I updated my java from 5.5 to 6.0. I recommend that you uninstall java from your current computer, then download java 5.5 or whichever version java had before its 6.0 release. Install that one into your computer and see if that helps

thank you. that seems to fix my problem. i also got a reply from UW within 15 minutes on how to fix this issue! 🙂
