Does anyone know what events ISU will offer for when we first arrive? I know there is the white coat ceremony. Does anyone know what day that is?

I called ISU yesterday to ask about orientation for the class of 2011, and Brenda said that they were going to start planning it next week, and they'd mail the info out when it was ready. She said orientation would probably be the week before classes started, so when I asked her if it'd probably start on the 13th, she said she thought it might start around the 15th, BUT that is unofficial--she didn't know for sure.

Is August 17th the definate date for the White Coat Ceremony? I tried e-mailing Brenda several times and she has not gotten back to me.

It's pretty official, but I don't think it's absolutely finalized. Basically, I think it's safe to plan on it being then if you are trying to invite family and friends and get flights and stuff.
