Hey guys and gals, just thought I would share some good news.
I interviewed at A.T. Still last week and they called today with good news!😀

At my school I am very rare (the non-traditional student, that is 🙂 )

Most of the pre-med students I meet haven't worked much in their lives if at all, have done some check list volunteer activites, and have their parents supporting them while they are in school so they do not not have to work.

I'm sure many of you can relate, but HAVING to work, or take care of kids, or any obligation for that fact, can take time away from studying, whether it be for the MCAT or courses, making it harder to get a 4.0 or a 30+ MCAT.

I am happy to know that people who have life experience and are well rounded can get into medical school without having a killer GPA and MCAT.

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! 😀

Congratulations to you! That's great!

I just checked an it appears my last LOR has now made its way to Kirksville and I'm now complete, so now I'm sitting on pins and needles hoping for an interview!

congradulation, I'm also a nontraditional student. I would love to know a little bit about your journey in college.
