I wanted people's opinions on different factors to consider when choosing a program.

So far I've included:
1.) Length of program
2.) Tuition / cost
3.) Summer session / year around
4.) Research project
5.) Location
6.) Family support network
7.) US world news rank
8.) NBCOT Paso Rates
9.) Faculty
10.) Class size
11.) Housing costs
12.) Accreditation length
13.) Graduation rates
14.) Degree type

If anyone has any other factors to consider I'd love to hear you opinions.

Specifically comparing one program vs another.

Thanks!

I was recently doing the same thing! I looked into scholarships/grants the schools are able to provide. I know it is hard to find anything besides loans, but there are scholarships out there that some programs have. I definitely took the cost into consideration as well as the location. You are going to be attending a program 2/3 years so you definitely want to make sure you like where you go. I not only looked at the NBCOT pass rate overall, I made sure to inquire what is the pass rate for first-time takers.

Good luck with making your decision! I know it can be tough. But at the end of the day it is where you see yourself happy and succeeding...and the one paying for the loans afterwards . You don't want your future self to be stressed out.
