Hehe, thanks Elysium! I know, despite my deep lack of faith in religion, I SOMEHOW made it...there must be some sort of loophole in God's design or something 'cause I was able to sneak through 🙂 I am suprised that Slick was wrong, what IS this world coming too! 🙄
Congrats! Now go read Revelations, cause the world will probably end before you or I graduate med school!
Congrats !
I was accepted at NSUCOM too. I'm probably going to UM, though (haven't made up my mind yet). Nova's lucky to have you.

congrats....maybe I'll see you there.
As for interviewing at NSUCOM...
go
relax
to me it was one of my easier interviews. They were really friendly and helpful. Plus they actually called me to inform me of my acceptance less than a week later. That was pretty sweet.
You can't go wrong with living jin Ft. Lauderdale on the beach and away from the snow.

Thanks ya'll! I can be a better person on SDN now, all relieved with this weight lifted off my shoulders...what a stinky process...
My interview was actually a complete nightmare. I loved the school but thought I didn't stand a chance after I was grilled for 15 mins. by a gynecologist...please don't take that statement the wrong way 🙂 seriously though, he basically told me the 2 years of research I did after graduating was useless, that it holds little place in osteo. medicine. Then, when I said I wanted to specialize in treating addicts in countries with little to no facilities, he said, "You obviously don't know that osteopaths have many obstacles practicing abroad, and that they rarely go into such specialties as addiciton medicine..." I was like, damn, that doesn't mean I can't do it, just because most people don't go that path. I was totally turned off by the interview...
But the school is fly as hizell, I'm geeked.
NSA914, I think something that helped me was when I was asked if there was anything I wanted the interviewers to tell the admissions committee about myself. All the other interviewees were given the same opportunity during their interviews. I rattled off a list of reasons why NSU was good for me, and basically let them know I was only and seriously interested in their school. I think this helped me...and try to have a good answer prepared when they ask you this.
Hope to see you there Robz...and Lexy Goat, congrats on getting into UofM. My girlfriend is going to start her PhD there next year...us Pittsburgh based Turks are flooding into sunny FL

Mete,
Sorry that this response is late - I haven't been on the forums much at all for the past couple months. I just wanted to congratulate you on your acceptance. I've been periodically checking the acceptance list, watching for your name. Too bad your interview was tough - but look - YOU DID IT! Congratulations! I'm so glad you got in somewhere - you are a great person and you definitely deserve it! Best of luck at NSUCOM! (are you still in the application cycle or are you officially going to NSUCOM)

Congratulations on getting accepted! It is quite a relief isn't it? Once again, congratulations and good luck to you.
