I have a hard time seeing how they judge some of those. I'm in Berlin now and first of all..maybe it is because German's just don't buy but it is almost always considered cheaper than other places. I can get a weeks worth of groceries for about 20 dollars. I had the oppurtunity to rent a HUGE apartment (3 bedroom, 2 bath, kitchen, living room, dining room) and it was 750 euro per month divide that by 3 and it defintley isn't too shabby...that is really close to the center of the city as well. Some of those make since..London and Tokyo do. I bought an apple for 5 dollars in Tokyo and my last trip to London I payed 10 dollars for a "reasonably priced meal" along with about 4 pounds for a pint. I guess my main beef was Berlin.lol
