Or at least it doesn't seem like it.

I was hoping to score pretty well (is 240 a good score? doesn't seem like so around here), but I'm not sure if that will happen. I seem to be averaging around 65-70% on UWorld, although my overall average is 57%. I have about 55% of it completed at this point.

It seems like there are just so many things that I keep forgetting, and my exam is coming up soon :scared:

Seems like you are totally in line for a 240 (but don't let this give you ease). Just keep plugging away. Good luck 😀

Thanks 👍

I guess you know you have been reading SDN too much when you consider 240 a mediocre score. Seems like everyone on here is 250+

I think the key to make it stick is repetition, try to review in a organinze way and take mental snap shots of what you are reading like where on the page it is etc. also you need to do something with the material you reviewed. Do questions which will consolidate that particular system. The biggest key is repetition.

I second what RedSoxSuck says. Repetition is the only way. There are no shortcuts. Try to teach it to someone or your cat/dog/turtle/shark from memory to test yourself. If you can do that then you will...never forget.

How far from the exam are you? You might benefit from using an alternate study strategy that focuses on "making it stick"... I hear that USMLERx and DIT are best for that. I haven't done either yet, but I'm planning to do both in the last 4 weeks before my exam.

Less than a month.

I have USMLERx, and I am not a fan at all. I use it occasionally, but it just seems like a poor man's USMLEWorld.

I'm just going to focus on repetition, and then more repetition...

I'm told that 70% on UW should be good for getting around 240ish (and you've only done 55% so far, it'll get better as you get more used to it!)
