Ok, clarification then: It's Oct 15 for the vast majority of the world's population (not necessarily the subset applying to US med schools)

sorry, I was just being sarcastic. All of the schools I have applied tend to announce acceptances later... and I was starting to grow too expectant and then a little bitter haha so I guess I meant to say "nothing's happening for me"

Congrats to those with the acceptances though. I bet it's nice to relax a little 🙂
 
first acceptance! I'm also happy to just be able to withdraw at a few places I had second thoughts about going to anyway. Woot for making my list shorter! Good luck all.

What exactly happens on October 15? I thought interviews and acceptances for medical school go on as late as March. 😕
 
I'm in I'm in I'm IN! Got into one of my state schools in VA.

Now - the hard work begins. 🙂

Don't freak yet. Plenty of schools are sending interview invites until the beginning of Jan. You could interview through feb-early march and still get in. Remember too, if you didn't submit super-early and they're reviewing apps as they arrive, your app might not even have been looked at yet.
