Why you gotta taunt? I just got back from Ft. Lauderdale on Sunday. Back in Chicago. I'm actually thinking about busting out my winter coat. Weather in Chicago at 2pm = 47 degrees. I'm sick of this weather...and NYC won't be any different.

Good old west coast (except for southern California). Students at UW, UO, UCSF, and UOP all get to enjoy great weather year round (no hot humid or cold sub zero days). Plus no icky poisonous reptiles and apartment dwelling insects.

I'll have to admit, after going on interviews in pitt, unc, columbia, and boston, I've realized one thing: nothing beats cali weather. Cali peeps are a spoiled bunch, shorts/t-shirts/flip-flops in the fall, winter, spring, and summer. Oh and the girls-- oouch!!-- tank tops, spaghetti straps, skirts/sarongs, roxy flip flops. Nothing beats tanned up cali girls on a hot day!!!!
I'm boooooooooored. Here's my schedule for this week:
Tuesday: Give my last presentation...then I'm officially done.
Wednesday: Get a haircut, get some stupid immunization shot
Thursday: Apply for a job at Banana and Sprint store...subsequently getting discounts at both.
Friday - August 18th: Absolutely nothing (plus some Cubs games in between, attempt to find a girlfriend for 3 months)

Sounds pretty chill to me...I've got a load of exams coming up, not to mention having to deal with applications and the DAT!
Hopefully that'll be at this time next year...now that would sweet.

UCSF HAS GOOD WEATHER?! YOU MUST BE KIDDING ME?! I WAS THERE FOR A WEEK LAST SUMMER (AUG I THINK) IT WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO COLD I COULDN'T GET UP IN THE MORNING!

IT'S COLD YEAR ROUND. AND PEOPLE HAVE THICK SKIN CAN WEAR TANK TOP.
It's about 31-32F with lots of wind in the winter, very chill and wet. In the summer, when the whole bay area is hot, it's foggy and chill..
Even my sister from boston thinks that sf is too cold for her. In SF, I hardly see the sun in the summer. And I will have to live there this coming summer. Thinking of a cold summer makes me sad already.
And here someone said that we are spoiled and wear tank top with spaghetti strap.

EZ with the SF weather. Try living a day in my shoes. Tomorrow we're all going to be happy b/c a "warm front" is coming in and blessing us with 68 degrees. After that? Back to the low 50's in mid-May.
