These (IU, BCM, UTH, UTSW) are a few of my most liked programs and I am wondering if anyone can share what their pros and cons are. I would really like to know about work hours, the opportunity to do complex cases (especially peds), family life (is there enough time to pend with family or grow/expand a family, and public schools (if you have any experience with the school system). Are the residents happy? Does it prepare you well to go into a fellowship or academic medicine? Thanks in advance!!
