Sorry if this isn't the correct thread; it's kind of a school x vs y questions, but it's about applying, not choosing after admission. I need to figure out what I'm doing so I can plan appropriately. Thanks!

EDP

Pros:
-Stability, my husband already has work here in our city and we have family here, and stability/support is worth a lot to me
-Saving money on applications and interview travel if I get in
-It's a great school

Cons:
-I was a nursing student in these hospitals, so I kinda want to experience something different
-If I don't get in, I'm behind on applying elsewhere

I'd probably include a handful of other midwest and northeast schools if I went the regular admission route.

If it helps, my stats when I apply will probably be 3.6+ for both cGPA and sGPA. I have a serious upward trend given that I failed a math class my first semester (many years ago), and I've gotten nothing but A/A-s at my current institution. Haven't taken the MCAT yet, but I'm studying hard and aiming for a 514. I'll have ~50hrs research, ~100hrs volunteering (including a service learning project that I coordinated), ~50hrs shadowing and clinic experience from nursing school.

A lot of this is dependent on what your MCAT score is. If you're instate for Indiana and have at least a somewhat average MCAT, then your chance of admission are high just with regular decision. I think you should choose after you have your MCAT score back, but it looks like you may want to go with the regular decision.
