Good news: At our monthly Dean's town hall meeting today, we found out that the alumni council has begun raising money to renovate our pre-clinical lab into a sim lab. Sweet! 😀

Bad news: It won't be finished for two or three years, which means this year's class certainly won't benefit from it, and next year's may or may not. D'oh! 🙁

I like how we're getting things up to speed, though. The preclinical labs here aren't terrible, but it's nice to know the facilities will be comparable to places like ASDOH in a couple years; we have a 24-seat sim lab in an annex building, but it's used for continuing education.

At the rate things are going, I'll be as old as Tom and complaining about them durned whippersnapper young'uns before I know it

In other news, I've enjoyed the musical themes you've made for the role-playing games.

It's been so long since I made those, I didn't even register at first what you were talking about. Those things are AGES old--I'm 22 now, and I think those came out right around my 16th birthday. I've got MUCH better songs in my portfolio if you want to hear them; I didn't think those arrangements were particularly good even when I made them.

...For that matter, where'd you even FIND them? I can't believe they're even still floating around anywhere. I'm boondoggled. 😱
