I submitted my Optomcas application last week. I was looking up the IUSO pre-reqs and I remember at one time seeing that they required 1 semester of calculus but now it it in terms of credits (4). My calculus class I took 3 years ago was only 3 credits. Should I be prepared to take calculus II this summer? IUSO and PCO are my top 2 schools, I have a good gpa and an o.k. oat but now I am worried.

Thanks

I'm surprised you calc class was only 3 hours, my school has "premed" calculus which is much easier than Calc I, and even that class was 4 hours. As for needing to take another one, I wouldn't plan on taking it unless they specifically say at your interview that you haven't met the requirement. Some of the schools I interviewed at surprised me by saying I had met all the prereq requirements when their website would've suggested otherwise. You interview at IUSO yet?

I ended up contacting them, I just have to take any math class 100 level and higher for 3 credits, which is not a big deal. I am going November 12th for the interview although I don't think it's a typical 1 on 1 interview?
