IV qbank help?

Im going to get the 9 month qreview for 399 promotion going on from kaplan. I was never planning on doing the IV qbank but that comes with it. Anyone with experience using it even suggest using it during winter break just for pre-practice and getting something out of the answer explanations or is it not even worth that? I wasn't planning on wasting other better sources until i've reviewed up a bit more and won't do other q's in place of IV bank since i won't ever use IV again post winter break . Any thoughts welcomed>😳

I thought the IV questions were more like the actual Step 1 questions than the rest of the Qbank questions. The problem is that you have one passage on which they will ask you like 4 or 5 questions. That can be a little irritating because you will be given the answer to one of the questions in the previous question or the question right after it. Take a few questions and you will know what i mean.

Anyway, they aren't bad.

instead of creating a new thread, I just figured i'd add to this one:

Do IV qbank question results contribute to your % score on the qbank ? It's a semi-anal question only because I don't want to skew the results for qbank using IV qbank in either direction (worse score or better score) since I want to see how my progress is going by using that USMLE Step 1 calculator
