im also waiting for UF to respond, but im not sure if i will get in even if i get accepted, because uf seems much difficult, and im thingking that it would look better for me to get better grades in easier school in to get in to pharmacy school.

one more! um.. if i major in chemistry, does that mean i can't get into phamacy school before getting my degree? can i just finish prereqs in 2 years and apply for pharmacy school just like pre pharm students?😍

This is, and has been, up for debate forever and will probably continue to be that way forever to come. The age old debate of whether mediocre GPA at a top 10 school is "worth" more than a fantastic GPA at a lower tier school in terms of pharmacy school admissions is a tough one. Bottom line is, no one can tell you for sure. And hell, we're not future-readers, right? You might get a 3.7 cumulative at UF or at USF - IMO, if it's not a difference between a state school and an Ivy or other Name Brand school, then I'd just go with whatever one you've been accepted into. Aside from name brand, and maybe some in-state pharmacy applications, which 4 year school you attended won't matter at all.

A Chemistry degree won't necessarily bar you from applying to schools after your 2nd year, no - You just need to ensure that you can be on track with your Chemistry degree while also fulfilling all of the pre-requisites.

so I can get in to pharmacy school without any major and abandon my degree track?
