I only have 5 hours of shadowing experience. My application was supposed to be submitted yesterday, but I've postponed for today, because I really don't know what to write for the 'brief description' for my shadowing experience. I know this sounds pathetic, but I was hoping some of you could share some a brief description of the most common type of procedures you saw, and besides just standing/sitting around, what exactly did you do?
For those of you questioning my motives for this post, so be it. But I want to pursue dentistry more than anything, but simply havn't put enough hours to be able to write a brief description on the experience of shadowing.
And applying after my shadowing experience is NOT an option. I want to get it out early. I put that I've shadowed 30+ Hours on my application, because my end date was noted as August. Please don't post about this though.
For some reason, I knew I wanted to pursue dentistry within the first few hours of my first day of my experience, so I'd appreciate some feedback as to what kinds of things you all put on the application.
I'd appreciate it if you could stick to the more basic/everyday/common things, rather than any comical happenings or strange procedures (although that could be kind of funny).
