I got into an ivy league and I think it's hard to pass the opportunity.

Go to your ivy league school, and explore all options except pharmacy. Your pre-pharmacy pre requisites will also be the same as pre-med, but don't rule out anything while you are still young. As you can tell on this forum, pharmacy is a very risky field to pursue if you are in it for the money.

If you are having any doubts about pharmacy, then I would say go to the ivy league. I was in a similar situation, and I passed up the opportunity to go to an ivy league, and I highly regret it. Until you work in a pharmacy and really understand what the profession is like, I don't think you can really make an objective answer to what you should do with the rest of your life. Go to the ivy league, major in something that interests you (whether it be chemistry, biochem, bio or something totally unrelated) while doing premed/prepharm prereqs (they should be about the same as stated above), and you will find out in those four years what profession is right for you. If you decide early on that you want to do pharmacy, you can just finish up your prereqs and apply to whatever pharmacy school you choose and technically wouldn't have wasted any time. If not, then you are still on the right track to another career that interests you.
