J1 visa private practice partnership

Hi all, does anyone know if there are any certain restrictions on the j1 visa waiver that pertain to joining a private practice in partnership?

Like after 2 years, the practice is offering partnership to me. Are there any restrictions?

on H1, you cant own shares of the entity that sponsors your H1. you can buy into ancillaries like path, labs if it is setup separately

Thank you. I’m not super familiar with the whole PP model yet- but basically, there is an ASC, path, infusion Center, lab, etc. and after 2 years you get partnership into all profits from those income streams.

I think they also mentioned that the current partners are shareholders.. I guess what I mean to ask is, what is the difference between buying into ancillaries vs shareholder
