Can residents who are on J1 visa apply for renewal while in USA or have to leave country and see a USA consulate or embassy abroad.
I looked at that USCIS web site and it seems you can apply while in USA by submitting form I-539.
Even there is also option for premium processing that started in 2023.
Am I missing something?
