Any thoughts on this program? I interviewed on a weekend so there wasn't much going on and only a few residents around...hard to get a good feel. The information I managed to gather came mostly from their website or discussion with the residents. I know it's a fairly young program but does anyone have a sense of the quality of the training?

Are you taking about jackson memorial county hospital in Chicago. When did they start to offer PM&R program. I know many FMG people who went there and MAN!!!! it is the worst place in the world for training. They dont teach you anything at all. It is in one of the worst neighborhoods in chicago. My friend told me there shooting there everyday beside the hospital.

there is also a jackson merorial in Miami at univ of Miami, now that is a good program.

I can only comment on what I remember from the interview a few years ago. I don't know any specifics, but Dr. Sherman (I assume he's still the program director there) was energetic about the changes he was making at the time. I see a program that's always trying to change and improve itself, as a good thing.
