Hello I have a question about JAMP. Is it hard to get accepted into the program? Because from reading the website I am under the impression that you just have to be poor and have standard SAT scores. Is it very competitive especially if you go to a big school like UT at Austin?

Poor is not the word; economically disadvantaged would be the proper term. In the link below, they state precisely what the requirements are. I'm not from TX so I'm not that familiar with it, and I'm not sure if one UT school is more competitive than another for JAMP
