Hello everybody,
Since most people are working through their ROL, and have somewhat of an opinion of the many programs they interviewed, I wanted to know whether anyone could help me sort this out. I am sooo confused as to where I want to go. My only requirement is that is is in or near a large city. I seem to change my ROL everyday day, and I cannot figure this out

I'm interested in GI/PulmCC. My concerns are with Montefiore and BU, which seems to be very frontloaded (working 100hrs/week cinsistently). Rush GI fellwoship matches have been on average 2-3 per year (last year 2 matched @ Rush, and they were both chief residents according to the package they provided during the interview, and I heard from a resident that only 3 matched this year starting this summer).

Any help would be appreciated.

Based solely on GI fellowship prospects, I would rank: BU then Jeff (strong in GI) then Monte. I didn't apply to the others. They are all pretty hardcore programs in the way of hours esp. Monte and BU.

Monte, Jeff, and BU all have pretty good GI matches.

Rush, though a major player in the GI rankings, will be next.

Monte and BU are front loaded, yes indeed. Depends on what you value.

I liked Temple. If you got Jefferson, Monte, and BU on the list, go with them.
