Jefferson alternative list

Does anyone know anything about this? Has anyone talked to the admissions office lately and gotten any info? How big is it? How much movement do they expect? Is it moving? Etc.

I'm on their high-priority list. I know some students there, and they seem to know a good number of people who were accepted off of that list. As for movement, I know some has happened already (check out the waitlist movement thread).

Are you guys other than Monchi on the "alternate" list, or on the "high priority" list? I wonder if they ever get down into the regular alternate list...

I was on the high priority list and got accepted April 19th. Funny thing is when I called because I was confused about the high priority letter they sent, they said they just had one unranked waitlist. I guess this was either a lie, or someone who had no idea what they were talking about, or someone who just didn't understand what I was trying to ask. In any case, the high priority list has been moving for a while now, so keep up hope, I bet they will get to the regular list, it may just be late.

also, so there is a some sort of ranking/tiering on the alternate list?

Yup, I'll be in philly looking at apartments next weekend. As far as I can tell, they have 2 unranked alternate lists, a high priority one, and a regular one.
