anyone hear anything back from jeff yet?

oh, and does anyone know how they contact you (via phone, letter, or email)?

bump -- any news of movement?

seems like they're really slow with the wait list. there's been a lot of movement with the other schools lately.

I got into Jefferson this afternoon. I was on the regular waitlist, not the "high priority" waitlist. Good luck to you all waiting...

if you don't mind...how did they contact you by phone or mail?

I received a phone call from Dean Callahan. Good luck!

yeah, i finally got in...so there's a spot open for umdnj

Hi,

I know someone still on the waitlist at Jefferson... any good tips on getting in at this point in the game? Had you both been in frequent contact with admissions? still calling and writing letters? Any info is appreciated!

Congrats on your acceptances 🙂

I am on the waiting list at Jefferson and am open to any advice also.

ok,
To those of you that applied to jefferson:

Is it true they have some obnoxious (sp?) LOR requirement like one bio, one chem, one physics and one humanties???

I have one Biochem (I guess that two birds with one shot), one Humanities, but no physics. A total of 5 recs. Did you guys apply regardless of your "lack" of lor requirements? I heard somebody just called them up about this issue and got some crappy answer by a secretary. What to do? What to dooooo??

I just got a secondary from them and need to decide.

i was waitlisted and finally got in this week. regarding this year, just try to update them with letters and call around once a week (worked for me). as far as applying for this year, i just sent them my committee letter, which included 2 bio, 1 psych, and 1 history letter of rec (i was a bio/psych major). so i would go with that, but it wouldn't hurt to call them again as specifics may change year to year.

I have heard around the SDN block that a lotta people have broken their LOR rule. Why does that not surprise me?

Thanks for the info.
