Jefferson waitlist rankings

Does anyone know if Jefferson assigns its waitlisted applicants to different categories? In many of the posts here on SDN, people say they are on the "highly competitive" or "highly selective" waitlist. However, I was told by Jefferson that applicants on the the waitlist are not ranked. Just curious.

All I can tell you is that I recall them saying that they were not ranked but then receiving a letter that said special high priority wait list...Sorry I can't be of more help
