I think the Birthright Israel organization has some sort of extended service trip if you go on the birthright trip or links to service in Israel.

Check out Magen David Adom (Israel's Red Cross).

I always find it hilarious when someone refers to it as Israel's Red Cross. Its Israel's equivalent to the red cross, but its like all the muslim countries get a Red Crescent. The name translates to Red Star/Shield of David...

Even various consumer goods that promise that a portion of the purchase price goes to Israel's red cross amuse me. I mean yeah, its easier to understand, but still wrong.
