Hi All,
So Im graduating in May with a BS in science( Life science Option) and a minor in human development and Family Studies. I plan on taking my MCAT's in March and then take a year off before medical school. I really want to find a well paid job for that year and would really appreciate your inputs. I am open to any jobs in my major and minor.

Just a quick rundown of my work background so you can get a feel of where i stand in terms of experience.

-Teachers assistant at daycare for 1.5 years till date (still working there, i love kids)
-research in genetics lab for a year (still working there)
-summer job at hospital teaching doctors how to use EMR's ( transition from paper discharges to electronic..really cool job)
-Ive also shadowed in a hospital one summer

Thankss!🙂🙂

Depends what you want out of it. In terms of paying well, there are few jobs that pay as well as private tutoring. I've done that for three years and its great pay/experience. However, if you want something a little more medically inclined I would really recommend getting your EMT certification and seeking employment with that. The pays not as great, but its really been an incredible experience for me so far.

Thank you very much 👍! i will look into both. For the private tutoring how did you find one? I did a quick search using job search engines but didn't find too much.
