Quick simple question:

Concerning pathology fellows who have been invited by a practice for a job interview - if the practice asks the fellow and suggests the interview dates, then asks the fellow if that will work, does the practice normally book and pay for the fellow's airfare and hotel costs after the fellow confirms?

Usually the practice will pay for the airfare.. they may not book it... (would say generally they don't book it).. they usually pay for the hotel and more likely will arrange that or suggest a hotel...

In my experience, you submit receipts after you interview. I did have 1 place book the hotel for me, so I didn't get charged for that.

Interviewing at local positions kind of sucks. They don't pay for anything. A couple of the places didn't even take me to lunch.
