I saw someone started a new job @Google as AI/ML engineer yesterday on LinkedIn, AND a significant increase within last 2 weeks of jobs posts (hybrid/remote) in software development, data science, cybersecurity, full-stack web, business intelligence, and biostats, aka SAS programmers, etc. The down side is that many are hourly contract jobs, but the pay is still good, and many are flexible (remote)
My guess is that the layoffs are starting to backfire a little now as the senior management realize they have laid off too many people but still need someone to get the job done.
PS: I will test the water myself early next year, hopefully I can snatch a few more remote jobs and make more $$$.
