Wills Eye Institute in Center City Philadelphia is seeking a Research Assistant to work on ophthalmology related clinical research projects including administrative tracking and coordination of projects for the department of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Ocular Genetics. The Research Assistant will work closely with all faculty including attending physicians, residents/fellows and medical students in coordinating research projects and aiding in research related activities when needed. The Research Assistant will also assist with grant writing and administration along with some scheduling related to research team meetings. This 40hr/week position is best suited for an individual who is a highly motivated team player who can also help coordinate certain nation-wide research studies.
The Research Assistant must have very strong computer skills and be proficient in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Adobe Acrobat. Adobe Photoshop skills are preferred but not required.
Exceptional organizational skills are a must.
This is a full-time position with health/retirement benefits.
