This is probably a bit off-topic, but I am starting SMP this fall and finally several months after graduating I finally got a job interview at a biotech lab. The job is 3 months conditional hire 40hr/week and if they like you after that period, you get a permanent job. Anyways, I was really looking for a job, but given that I'll be starting SMP in the fall, would it be bad for me to take the job if I'm hired anyways and quit right before I start school?

Is this really bad juju?

I may be a d1ck but I always look out for myself...and employers second. Do you think they would even hesitate to can you pre "non conditioned position" if they didnt want you? When I first graduated college I worked for a major pharma corporation. I moved over 200 miles for this job, got an apt and set up life in another city. I was working for them for 60 days when all of a sudden they announced layoffs. Guess who was the first to go despite my relocation. ME. This really opened my eyes...that most companies really dont give a $hit about their employees. However, as I have grown up, I have learned that networking is a huge importance in whatever career field you are in. So be careful and dont burn any bridges you can forsee yourself needing in the future. If you dont plan on keeping this job...or staying in biotech (which you obviously arent)....bounce after 3 months without worry.

be careful though. maybe i come from an industry where this is common, but commonly if a certain amount of time is not put in, there may be certain fees and expenses you may need to pay for. so look at the fine print. i would personally say don't it.
